Love the fit out and overall experience. It was a hot night & we were right next to the kitchen that cooks on open flames so it was hot, so was the bar area. The food was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately for my friends, they ordered a $120 tomahawk and wanted it medium rare, it was well done. The waiter ended up taking it off the bill as they didn’t eat it. But the rest of the food was lovely!

I’ve photographed many weddings at Half Acre and it's one of my favourite venues to work at. The mix of industrial architecture with warm, modern interiors creates an incredible backdrop for photos during the reception. The courtyard is a beautiful spot for ceremonies and golden hour portraits, while the indoor spaces feel both expansive and intimate. The staff are always amazing to work with and help the day run seamlessly. They also keep the vendors well fed throughout the night. A perfect choice for couples wanting a modern Melbourne wedding venue.
Recommended and brought here by my cousin. She works close by and attended for a work party, now she is a frequent visitor and has brought many people along. We booked a table for 4, on a Sunday for the bottomless feast and flow. The pricing at first glance seems pricy but it’s totally worth it! We each had 2 full plates of food, plus our hot main. Their cocktails are tasty, a good selection and service is top notch. They made accommodations for my dietaries (as well as many of the already accessible foods) and ensured we were always fed and had a drink. The venue is stuuuuunning. The courtyard, the kitchen, the architecture. Everything is lovely and such a vibe.
We celebrated our daughter's wedding here and it was FABULOUS! The restaurant is beautiful, the food exquisite and all the staff are friendly and helpful! Our requests were always considered and accomodated. We had a magical night! Thank you so much to everyone at Half Acre
BEST BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH IN MELBOURNE My fiancé and I came here for our 6 year anniversary and honestly had what can only be described as the best bottomless experience of our lives. Firstly, the food is incredible. The Feast Buffet has so many delicious options we could have honestly filled up on that alone. But you also get to choose 1 made-to-order item which not only is presented beautifully, and tastes amazing. But more than anything, the service was fantastic. All the staff were so friendly and so on top of everything. They would notice as soon as your glass was empty and get you a refill before you even had time to wave them down. The overall atmosphere of this place is a combination of fancy and cosy, so much nicer than a typical bar or restaurant. It’s safe to say we will be returning as well as highly recommended it to all our family and friends
My sister celebrated her wedding here, the food was incredible, like from another planet, we had beef, pork and several options of chicken, the broccoli salad and the cauliflower were to die for, the freshly baked bread was no joke, the venue was great with a smokers lounge, beautiful bathrooms and super friendly staff
We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at Half Acre and found it to be one the best venues to share an intimate moment. Excellent food, fantastic atmosphere and great staff (thanks Max and team). We'll certainly be back for our 2nd anniversary!
Half Acre is an absolute gem. The ambiance is a solid 10/10 – the space is beautifully designed, perfect for any occasion, whether it’s a special celebration or a casual dinner catch-up. The decor and setting really elevate the experience. As for the food, it’s nothing short of delicious. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared and full of flavour. It’s a place I’d highly recommend!
